Lawrence Potter grew up and went to school in Canterbury, and then went to Magdalen College, Oxford to study Classics. After his study and extensive travel he decided that it was his destiny to teach maths. He taught maths in South London for 2 years before he moved to Rwanda to continue his travel and teaching.
