How to submit a book for distribution:

If you have published a book and would like to submit a book to us to
consider for distribution around Australia, we have detailed a few easy
steps to follow.

• It is always easiest to post us a finished copy of the book
• If your book is not yet printed, we require, minimally, the following:
  • a full colour design for the front cover, spine and back cover
  • binding details such as hardcover or paperback, paper stock being used,
  • lamination to be used
  • page extent, and paper stock being used, as well as book dimensions
  • a one page synopsis of the content
  • if completed, a typical typeset page
  • if illustrations are being used, one or two typical illustrations
• Whether submitting finished or proposed books, we need to know:
  • your proposed retail price
  • some details about the author
  • what marketing plans you have made: PR, media, advertising etc.

What happens next?

Your submission will be sent to our Committee that appraises books we take
on. After we have reviewed your submission we will notify you by mail or
email as to whether we are to take on the distribution of your submitted
book. Please allow at least three weeks before expecting a response. Also
note if you wish us to return the copy of your material, you must request
this in your submission and include a self-addressed envelope.

Poetry
Biography or Autobiography
Family histories
